Inhibitors, cleansers, biocides and dosing for hydronic systems — the chemistry that keeps your system efficient and protects the heat source. AHHAC supplies the GEL / Long Life water treatment range.
The water inside a hydronic system isn't just water — it needs the right chemistry to stop corrosion, scale and microbiological growth. Untreated systems sludge up over time: magnetite (black iron oxide) forms, settles in pumps and valves, blocks underfloor loops and kills efficiency. Correct water treatment is the single cheapest way to extend a hydronic system's life.
AHHAC dose every system with the GEL / Long Life water treatment range — a complete 14-product line covering corrosion inhibitors, system cleansers, biocides, antifreeze and leak sealers. We test the system water and dose to the correct concentration, then verify at every annual service.
New systems: a cleanser flush to remove flux, swarf and installation debris, then a corrosion inhibitor dosed to the system volume. Existing/sludged systems: a power-flush with a heavy-duty cleanser, then re-inhibit. Cooling and chilled systems: biocide to prevent microbiological growth below dew point. Glycol-filled systems (frost-prone sites): inhibited antifreeze. AHHAC records the dose and re-tests inhibitor levels at each annual service to keep cover valid.
