The product range

Five products. One integrated platform.

MAXA's wire-controls and thermostat range is engineered to drive the full MAXA hydronic terminal line — GRIMPER fan coils, VE inverter fan coils, HCN cassettes — from a single integrated control platform. Each thermostat speaks the right native signalling for its assigned terminal type, so there's no mismatch between control output and unit input.

AHHAC selects the right combination for each install at quote stage, factoring in: terminal type (fan coil, cassette, radiator), preferred mounting location (on-board vs wall), control signal needed (three-speed vs 0–10 V modulating), and whether the client wants app-based remote control via My House Pro.

The five products in the MAXA thermostat range

Airmust BMCP A1Touch-screen thermostat for on-board installation

Designed specifically for on-board mounting on the VSL model fan coil machine. The control panel sits directly on the unit — ideal where wall space is limited or where the fan coil is the focal point of the room.

Airmust PTouch-screen thermostat for wall installation

Standard wall-mounted touch thermostat for the MAXA hydronic range. Suits most residential fan coil and cassette applications.

Airmust 3V A1Touch-screen wall control — three-speed fan output

Wall-mounted touch control with three-speed (Low / Med / High) signalling — used for two-pipe fan coils and standard MAXA terminals without inverter drive.

Airmust 010 A1Touch-screen wall control — 0–10 V modulating output

Wall-mounted touch control with 0–10 V output for inverter-driven fan coils. Modulating output gives quieter operation and finer temperature control compared to three-speed switching.

CRAThermostat for wall installation

Compact wall-mounted thermostat — the simpler / lower-cost option compared to the Airmust touch-screen range. Pairs with GRIMPER fan coils, VE terminals and HCN cassettes (including MB variants).

My House ProCloud app + remote control

Smartphone app for iOS and Android. Connects to the wire-controls range and provides remote setpoint adjustment, scheduling, energy monitoring and multi-zone management.

Common questions

MAXA Thermostats — FAQ

What is the MAXA thermostat range?+
MAXA's wire controls and thermostats for hydronic terminals are an integrated range of touch-screen controllers designed to drive MAXA's fan coil units and hydronic emitters. The product line includes the Airmust BMCP A1 on-board thermostat, Airmust P and Airmust 3V A1 / 010 A1 wall-mounted touch controllers, the CRA wall-mount thermostat, and the My House Pro app for smart-home control.
What is the Airmust BMCP A1?+
The Airmust BMCP A1 is a touch-screen thermostat designed for on-board installation directly on the VSL model fan coil machine. It controls a single fan coil unit from the unit itself — ideal where wall-space is limited or where the fan coil is in a discreet location and you want the controls on the unit.
What's the difference between Airmust P, Airmust 3V A1 and Airmust 010 A1?+
All three are touch-screen wall-mounted controllers, but with different output signalling. Airmust P is the standard wall thermostat. Airmust 3V A1 outputs a three-speed fan signal — typical for two-pipe fan coils. Airmust 010 A1 outputs a 0–10 V modulating signal — used with inverter-driven fan coils where variable-speed control gives quieter operation and finer temperature control.
What is the CRA thermostat?+
The CRA is MAXA's wall-installation thermostat — a simpler, more compact wall thermostat for hydronic terminal control. It pairs with MAXA's GRIMPER (MSL, VSL, BSL) and VE family fan coils, as well as the HCN (and MB variant), HCNP and HCNA series.
What is My House Pro?+
My House Pro is MAXA's smart-home and Wi-Fi control platform. It connects the wire controls and thermostats to a cloud-based app, allowing remote operation, scheduling, energy reporting and multi-zone management across iOS and Android devices.
Which MAXA hydronic units do these thermostats work with?+
The Airmust and CRA range is designed for MAXA's full hydronic terminal line: the GRIMPER fan coil family (MSL, VSL, BSL chassis), the VE residential and inverter fan coils (VMI, VMF, OMP, OMI / VII, VIF, OIP, OII — including MB variants), and the HCN family of hydronic cassettes (HCN, HCNP, HCNA — all with MB variants).
Can I retrofit MAXA thermostats onto an existing hydronic system?+
Yes — provided the existing fan coils, radiators or underfloor manifolds are in the MAXA compatibility list (most VSL / MSL fan coils, HCN cassettes and many third-party units with compatible voltage signalling). AHHAC carries out a compatibility audit at quote stage and confirms the right Airmust / CRA model.
Does AHHAC commission MAXA thermostats?+
Yes. Every install includes the commissioning step — pairing each thermostat with the assigned hydronic terminal, setting up the schedules, enabling the My House Pro app account, and training the homeowner before we leave site. Warranty is registered with MAXA at the same time.
