Products we supply

The brands we trust. The full range.

We supply only what we'd install in our own homes — Italian-engineered Maxa heat pumps, Australian-made Rheem hot water, German-engineered Stiebel Eltron, Japanese-engineered Mitsubishi and Rinnai.

The short answer

Updated

Hydronic heating products in Australia fall into four groups: the heat source (heat pump or boiler), the emitters (radiators, underfloor, fan coils or skirting), the distribution (pipe, valves, pumps and expansion vessels) and the water treatment that protects it all. AHHAC supplies and installs every group, including Maxa and Immergas heat pumps, Viessmann boilers and IMAS radiators held in Australian stock, matched to a room-by-room heat-loss calculation, with heat-pump COPs of 3.5–5.5.

Before you buy

Buying hydronic heating products in Australia: why we sell systems, not boxes

We get a steady stream of calls from homeowners who bought a heat pump or a pallet of radiators online and now need someone to make it all work. Sometimes it can be rescued. Often the parts were never designed to work together: a heat pump chosen on price paired with radiators sized for a gas boiler, plain PEX letting oxygen into a steel-panel system, or a pump big enough for a hotel humming away in a three-bedroom house. That is why we do not sell over the counter. Every product we supply is specified from a room-by-room heat-loss calculation and installed by our own licensed plumbers and hydronic engineers.

What a complete hydronic product list should include

Whether you are comparing our quote or someone else's, check that each of these is named, sized and accounted for:

  • Heat source: heat pump, condensing gas boiler, electric boiler or wood boiler, with output matched to the calculated heat loss, not the floor area.
  • Emitters: radiators, underfloor loops, fan coils or skirting, each with its output stated at the flow temperature the heat source will actually run.
  • Distribution: oxygen-barrier pipe, manifolds, mixing and balancing valves, and a variable-speed circulating pump.
  • Pressure and protection: an expansion vessel sized to the system's water volume, a safety group, and a buffer tank where the heat source needs one.
  • Water treatment: a cleanser flush and inhibitor dose recorded at commissioning.
  • Controls: room thermostats or zoning, ideally with weather compensation.

If a quote lists only the big-ticket items, the smaller components are either missing or will turn up later as variations. Those smaller parts decide whether a system with a 30+ year pipe life runs quietly for decades or needs a call-out every winter.

Brand matters less than fit. Our Maxa vs Viessmann vs Immergas comparison explains how we choose a heat source, and we hold the IMAS radiator range in Australian stock so emitters are not held up by a European import wait. For a realistic budget across the whole package, our hydronic heating cost guide shows where the money goes, and how hydronic heating systems work covers the design basics.

FAQs

Products & brands — common questions

Which brands do you supply and install?

Authorised supplier of Maxa heat pumps (Italy), Viessmann boilers and DHW heat pumps (Germany), Rheem and Rinnai hot water (AU/Japan), and ThermaSkirt™ skirting heating (UK). We also install Bosch, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Stiebel Eltron, Apricus, Sanden, Reclaim, Vaillant, Worcester, Zehnder, Bisque and others as project requirements dictate.

Can I buy products from you without installation?

We're an installation specialist, not a retailer — every product we supply comes with our design, install and warranty service. We don't sell over-the-counter. The trade-off is that everything we put in is engineered to your home and backed by our service team for the lifetime of the system.

Do you handle warranty work for products you didn't originally install?

Yes — our service team works on every major hydronic and plumbing brand sold in Australia in the last 25 years. We can take over warranty service contracts where the original installer has stopped responding. Pricing is based on the call-out and parts; manufacturer warranty (where valid) covers free replacement parts.
