The circulating pump moves water from the boiler or heat pump through every radiator, underfloor loop and fan coil in the system. Modern high-efficiency ECM (electronically commutated motor) pumps modulate their speed to demand, using up to 80% less electricity than the old fixed-speed pumps — a meaningful saving on a component that may run thousands of hours a year.
AHHAC supplies and installs Grundfos pumps — the global benchmark for hydronic circulators — alongside the Wiseliving pump range. We size every pump to the system's flow rate and head loss, because an oversized pump wastes energy and creates noise, while an undersized one starves distant loops.
Get the pump right and the system is silent, balanced and cheap to run.
